Antisocial Behaviour
Antisocial behaviour is delivered through the Community Safety Strategic Framework and provides a continued focus on delivery of partnership activities.
The Framework sets out an assessment of the extent and nature of antisocial behaviour in South Lanarkshire and the actions being taken by partners to address antisocial behaviour and its underlying causes.
The Anti Social Behaviour Implementation Group (ASBIG) is responsible for overseeing the ongoing implementation and monitoring of the Antisocial Behaviour Strategy. The group is chaired by the Council's Housing and Technical Resources with the following partners:
- Police Scotland;
- Scottish Fire and Rescue;
- Youth Learning Services, South Lanarkshire Council;
- Environmental Services, South Lanarkshire Council;
- Social Work Resources, South Lanarkshire Council; and
- Victim Support.
